This type of product basically increases the rigidity of masonry
panels by introducing steel into the bed joint of the wall,
either to merely resist cracking or in a more structural sense.

Stainless
steel masonry reinforcement consisting of
4.00mm diameter circular section longitudinal
wire, complete with 2.6mm diameter cross
wires, available in standard widths of 60mm,
100mm and 150mm. The product allows an increase
in brick panel size, reduction in frequency
of piers or
windposts, and can act to strengthen
soldier or stack coursing.
