Vista Engineering Becomes a Planet Mark Member to accelerate the Journey to Net Zero
We are delighted to announce that we are working towards becoming Planet Mark Certified, to accelerate our net zero journey and reduce our carbon emissions.
Planet Mark is an internationally recognised leader in net zero certification, with over 12 years of experience in helping businesses of all sizes to reduce emission, secure net zero targets, and generate long-term business value. Planet Mark operates at the centre of climate tech, advisory and legislation to bring together the best of people, technology and nature. Its unified model helps 800+ Member organisations achieve tangible business results that stand for meaningful climate action.
This partnership builds upon our commitment to renewable energy. In 2018, we took a significant step toward sustainability by installing a 50kW solar power system at our manufacturing and distribution facility. We took our commitment further in January this year, proudly doubling our solar capacity with an additional 50kW installation. The seamless integration of the new solar panels with existing systems will further enhance our ability to generate clean energy on site, in turn reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and contribute to a cleaner future.
Building on this commitment to sustainability, Vista Engineering holds the ISO 14001 environmental accreditation, awarded by ISOQAR, a sister company of Planet Mark. This certification reinforces our dedication to minimizing environmental impact through efficient resource management and waste reduction, further aligning with our goal of taking the necessary steps to work towards achieving net zero.
