New 300mm VE4 Type 4 Wall Tie Added to Our Range
We are pleased to announce the expansion of our popular VE4 range with the introduction of a new 300mm Type 4 Housing Wall Tie. This latest addition allows us to better support projects that require wider cavity widths.
Classified as a Type 4 (light duty housing tie) and tested as Type A (for acoustic performance in separating/party walls) to BS EN 845-1, the 300mm tie is designed for cavities from 151mm to 175mm. It is suitable for domestic dwellings up to 10 metres in height and complies with British Standards (BS EN 845-1) and NHBC requirements.
Manufactured from the same high-quality austenitic stainless steel as the rest of our VE4 ties, this new product features an enhanced multidrip design with off-centre drips effectively preventing moisture transfer.
The tie guarantees a minimum 62.5mm embedment in each masonry leaf for optimum structural performance.
They are supplied in boxes of 250 and feature a unique dual-insert design that keeps ties neatly aligned. Builders can slide off one tie at a time while the rest remain secure, helping to maintain order and improve efficiency on site.
